What to bring

What to double check

  • Final walkthrough completed and any agreed repairs documented.
  • Names, address, and loan terms on the closing disclosure match your agreement.
  • Keys, garage remotes, mailbox info, and HOA details are ready for handoff.

After you sign

  1. Confirm the deed is recorded and funds are disbursed before moving in.
  2. Change locks and set up utilities if not already scheduled.
  3. Store closing documents in a safe place and set reminders for homestead and tax exemptions if applicable.
